Diversity .....

Here I stand and will lend my voice to support and encourage all roads that lead to love.

I was raised Christian. I love and admire the man Jesus Christ. How could I not? What he taught is very simple: "Love One Another".

I now align myself with a Buddhist tradition but that does not mean in anyway that I discredit any of the worlds religions that point towards kindness, compassion, love and forgiveness.

This morning I Googled the religions of the world. It said that there are 12 Classical world religions.

Yoga was not one of them because yoga is not a religion. Yoga, to me, is a way of living and being in the world.

To me being a yogi" means to be willing to engage with life full heartedly as it is happening with attention, intimacy and presence.

A yogi is devoted to clear seeing, to really see and feel what is going on and to respond in a loving, wise and compassionate way.

Unrolling yoga mats together is a beautiful symbol of diversity unified.

I bow to all that engage in yoga/life with me.

Namaste.
